OCTOBER - NOVEMBER 2023

SAHA ASSOCIATION, ISTANBUL

Akis Kokkinos (SNF ARTWORKS Curatorial Fellow 2021), will travel to Istanbul for a 6-week curatorial residency program at SAHA Association (October-November 2023). Akis Kokkinos is an independent curator, lecturer and commissioner, living between London and Chios. He is also founding director of DEO projects, an alter-institution in Chios, supporting transnational dialogue and the existing cultural infrastructure on the island.

During his visit to Istanbul,  Akis aspires to gain valuable insights into the dynamic Turkish artistic scene. He aims to connect with artists who may contribute to upcoming DEO projects, fostering transnational dialogue across borderland cultures in the neighboring countries.
